Security Intern - 2025
Nightwing is seeking a Security Intern who will be assisting the Security Leads with duties related to successful execution of three key security projects/activities supporting user access and security processes. The candidate will assist the team in operational tasks related to day-to-day support of security standard job functions and the creation of process flows and training. The candidate will also assist with the daily, weekly and monthly reports and provide support to achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), tracking both production support and project related activities. All this, while gaining experiencing in the grass roots design, maintenance and application of the security architecture for customer and corporate functions. Above all, the successful candidate will be energetic, have an excellent work ethic, and possess a desire & ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts.

Desired Skillsets:
• Time Management: utilize excellent time management and project management skills to consistently meet deadlines, prioritize tasks appropriately, and delegate when appropriate. Must be able to multitask - demonstrating the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Problem-solving: Must display the ability to effectively prioritize workload on multiple projects simultaneously and accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions
• Critical thinking: must display strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical capabilities when interacting with clients, direct reports, managers, peers, and stakeholders
• Communication: must be able to listen carefully to accurately gather facts and figures from clients, managers, peers, and stakeholders. Must also be able to clearly articulate the results of your work and present their findings in written reports. Must be able to organize, facilitate, and collaborate within cross-functional teams - demonstrating a collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
• Attention to detail: must pay strong attention to detail in order to be able to keep information accurate and organized while utilizing skills and knowledge to quickly learn about the project
• Computer literacy: need to be able to use computer-based tools to work effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, & Word), Adobe or related software
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in a degree program related to security discipline, with expected graduation date
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cumulative 3.5 GPA desired
• Experience leading a team project
• Involvement in school or community activities

The salary range for this role is - . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
