The Digital Technology Applications team is seeking a SAP Planning Solution Lead. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and configuring solutions to support business processes across the Production Planning and Materials Management value streams. The candidate must have hands-on SAP implementation lead experience in multiple projects with strong knowledge in design, architecting solutions in SAP Production Planning, Materials Management, Execution and other planning tools.
The Solution Lead is dedicated to enabling industry-leading solutions leveraging SAP S/4 HANA and related digital technology solutions. The candidate will represent Collins Aerospace in the Global Design activities across Raytheon Technologies. The candidate will work with the functional support teams and business SMEs to evaluate best practices in S/4 for the aerospace & defense industry and recommend the future state solution for Collins.

What YOU will do:
- Assess/Recommend SAP S/4 best practice adoption and use.
- Solution designs - SAP and related applications.
- Enterprise structure management and design.
- Maintain policy documents.
- Determine solution options for cross-functional integration issues.
- Present new business process system solutions.
- Provide guidance for project and global initiatives.
- Business collaboration and IT integration.
- Lead/Support functional councils.
- Lead/Support developing SAP S/4 rollout roadmap aligned with customer strategies.
Qualifications you must have:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 10 years of SAP techno-functional experience in PP/MM modules & external planning tools (such as APO, IBP, Servigistics, Kinaxis) with 5 or more full-cycle implementations
- Migration experience to S/4 HANA from lower SAP instance.
- Deep and wide knowledge and hands-on configuration, enhancements, testing, and deployment experience in all areas of PP/MM modules.
- Working knowledge of integration details between PP/MM and other modules (SD/LE, FI-CO, PM, QM, SM, IM, WM, etc.)
- Intimate understanding of general business processes, specifically in the areas of planning, inventory management, procurement, quality, and production.
- Strong understanding of handheld devices, barcodes, and barcode readers is a must.
- Experience with implementing and support of interfaces to 3rd party logistic providers.
- Experience with implementation of RF software e.g. SAP Console, ITS Mobile / DSI (handheld support).
- Must be okay with 50% travel.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Production planning, Production execution
- Managing master data - Material masters, BOM, Routing, Work centers, Production Versions etc.
- Material replenishment for production area, Backflush, Kanban processes, Engineering change management, Capacity planning, LTP - Simulations
- Experience in designing solutions for discrete manufacturing & repetitive manufacturing environments are critical.
- Strong understanding of batch processing and the downstream impact of delayed MRP / Pegging and all other highly dependent scheduled job.
- Experience in both SAP ECC and S/4 HANA is a plus
- SAP functional experience in aerospace and defense industry.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
This position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
