As a Senior Technician in our Repair Station, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our repaired products. You'll lead final inspections, write 8130-3 and EASA 145 documents for return to service and dual release, and oversee the entry of completed certification documents into company tracking systems. Additionally, you'll train associates on regulations and procedures, assist with FAA and other audits, and contribute to process improvements. Your expertise will be essential in preparing products and documents for presentation to the shipping team, ensuring we meet customer deadlines and maintain operational excellence.

What You Will Do:
- Final Inspections: Conduct thorough final inspections on completed work to ensure it meets all quality standards before approval for return to service. Write 8130-3 and EASA 145 Return to Service documents on completed and inspected units.
- Training and Development: Ensure hourly associates receive comprehensive training to stay up-to-date with regulations, procedures, and processes.
- Audit Participation: Assist with FAA, airline, AS9100, and other audits, ensuring compliance and readiness.
- Procedure Improvement: Contribute to the creation, implementation, and maintenance of procedures that support product and process improvements.
- Manufacturing Innovation: Research and develop new manufacturing techniques and tooling to enhance throughput, reduce scrap, and improve product quality.
- Process Collaboration: Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to design and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Guidance and Mentoring: Provide expert guidance and training to hourly associates, fostering skill development and adherence to quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work conforms to approved data, quality standards, and specifications.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate documentation for all work, adhering to company standards and customer requirements.
- Customer Deadlines: Collaborate with associates to meet customer contractual deadlines and ensure timely turn-around.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as needed to support operational efficiency and excellence.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- This position requires an HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Previous FAA Experience, minimum of 18 months experience in an accredited 145 Repair Station.
- Background in Aerospace and/or Aviation.
- Previous Quality Inspection Experience.
- Experience in a Team Lead role.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
