What You Will Do:
Pratt & Whitney Columbus is at the core of military and commercial engine applications production with the manufacture of forgings for disks. The Quality Supervisor will manage a team of inspectors in the ASIS (Automated Sonic Inspection System) cell. You will be responsible for supervising employees, establishing processes with the cell's new state-of-the-art equipment, collaborating effectively with other departments to troubleshoot and quickly address maintenance needs, and setting a weekly plan for the off-shift supervisors to ensure continuity of achieving our production goals. Most importantly, you will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance within inspection operations and meeting customer expectations through on-time delivery while working to drive efficiency into the quality inspection processes.
- Ensure the safety of employees by driving a "safety-first" culture
- Enable the inspection team by providing training and development; leading a team that is empowered to make decisions that meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives
- Identify opportunities for documentation of quality requirements to establish and implement improvements
- Investigate new and improved methods of inspection that can be used to improve efficiency and reduce cost
- Promote transparency in quality operations performance and plans to address gaps in meeting daily business objectives
- Collaborate with the quality engineering and manufacturing engineering teams in addressing quality concerns and continuous improvement opportunities; lead the working team to develop continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet customer objectives
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in quality, engineering, or other technical field in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in a team leadership role
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with SAP and Solumina
- Continuous improvement/Lean process improvement experience
- Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection
- Experience in Engineering/Production Technician, Quality Engineering, CMM Quality, CNC Machining, or Quality Inspection

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
