What You Will Do:

Please note: This is a 2nd Shift role. Monday - Thursday. 2pm - 12:30am
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Facilitate and participate in process reviews/process tryout to support shop capability and cost analysis.
- Develop quality metrics to analyze and monitor for performance trends (QN/Scrap)
- Play an active role in continuous improvement methods (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
- Collaborate with shop floor operators and inspectors to develop robust inspection control plans
- Identify training needs and provide training and support to shop floor operators and inspectors on measurement gage use, blueprint intent and current performance trends
- Evaluate product in production line to ensure conformance
- Support process certification projects to implement process improvements.
- Evaluate procedures and processes to determine compliance with applicable requirements.
- Investigate non-conformances on MRB tables to assist in root cause, identify corrective actions and track effectiveness.
- Utilize continuous improvement tools to support the cellular concept and make process improvements.
- Assist to business metrics as defined by Cells (Cost, Quality, Delivery and EH&S).
- Demonstrate a dedication to the EH&S Program.
Qualifications We Require:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of relevant experience is required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Hands on experience in quality
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and or PW Quality Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and clearly communicate requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with SAP/Solumina
- Familiarity with blueprint reading / GD&T
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Accuracy and attention to detail is highly important
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of internal and external customers and support groups
