The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

RTX Technology Research Center (RTRC) is seeking an individual contributor manager to join its Finance team in the position of government proposal pricing. The preferred candidate will have a strong pricing background, work well in a team environment, be a self-starter and have the ability to work on multiple tasks. This opportunity provides a diverse experience in all fields of proposal pricing and exposure to multiple areas of RTRC's organization. The position reports directly to the RTRC Associate Director of Accounting & Controllership.

What You Will Do

  • Co-manage the RTRC external proposal pricing (research and development contracts) with responsibilities of:
  • Review and understand government regulation, solicitation requirements and RTRC's internal regulations related to proposal pricing, provide recommendations and guidance as required.
  • Utilizing the RTRC pricing tools to provide cost and pricing data to ensure compliance with rough order of magnitude (ROM) and detailed proposal pricing requirements in a diverse range of customer required forms for requests for proposals.
  • Actively engaging in the kickoff meetings, subcontractor coordination and pricing submission working with the business development, supply chain management, legal contracts, and researcher/engineering teams.
  • Manage the contract and contract modification review process for the finance related terms and conditions with respect to invoicing and financial reporting terms, and internal policy regulations to incorporate within the negotiation process.
  • Mange the program finance and indirect cost center budget development and execution for the Model Based Digital Thread team at RTRC. Working with the team for reporting in project management and budget to actual results.
  • Sarbanes Oxley documentation & testing.
  • Additional duties include but are not limited to:
    • Support DCAA, RTC Internal Audit & PWC audits, including the development of corrective actions; and
    • Actively participate in RTRC's process improvement processes through identification, recommendation, and implementation.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and at least 8 years of relevant experience or and advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
  • At least 2 years experience with and knowledge of US government contracting, pricing and regulations such as FAR and DFAR requirements related to proposal pricing,
  • At least 5 years of experience with SAP
  • Strong knowledge of MS office suite especially Excel to include but not limited to: Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Power Query, Lookup Functions V and H Lookup Functions, Macros and Data Modeling

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
