What You Will Do:

Project Material Control (PMC) is an organization within Pratt & Whitney Engineering under Development Operations, dedicated to supporting the rapid growth in new engine programs. PMC is looking for high energy, motivated, self-starters to drive high performance support as an analyst of the next generation of turbine engine hardware. You will be part of a team of analysts dedicated to the timely delivery and application of material to development and production assembly floors per the EVP plan.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Verify accuracy & completeness of PMPM memo & supplements, URs.
  • Approve PMPM's & URs. Create PR's, STO's, planned and productions orders.
  • Release material for development production orders.
  • Release material for vendor required material (Pratt supplied) purchase orders.
  • Works with materials to set up fixed storage bins for raw materials and finished materials that will be delivered to warehouses.
  • Ensure proper receipt and storage of hardware through shipping/receiving well, verify hardware receipt and quantity.
  • Support war room initiatives and daily validation calls for hardware status.
  • Resolve TROUBLE tickets in conjunction with buyers.
  • Manager and keep up to date industrial trackers and SAP ZDSR shortages.
  • Expedite critical items when requested by procurement, the IPT or management.
  • Attend IPT / CIPT / Industrial meetings as required to support your teams and customers.
  • Continually communicate requirements and status to your IPT teams and or project engineers.
  • Manage multiple tasks and assignments as required.
  • Share lessons learned with co-workers and other SAP users.
  • Assist with shipping and logistics as requested. Current BAER's are needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of logistics, materials management, or similar experience required, OR, an advanced degree.
  • Candidates with 6+ years of experience in logistics, materials management, or similar experience may be considered in lieu of 4-year degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be flexible, occasionally able to support extended hours, alternate shifts, or work weeks.

On-Site: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
