Raytheon - Advance Products & Solution (APS) is seeking a highly motivated Program/General Manager (Site Lead), Associate Director to manage multiple programs within the Space, Imaging and Microelectronics(SIM) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). This is an ONSITE role in Princeton, NJ.

What You Will Do

  • Drive strategic planning efforts
  • Business development opportunities, milestones, solutions for program problems
  • Oversee profit and loss (P&L) (including Estimate at Completion EAC inputs) to ensure that sales, profit, and cash targets are achieved
  • Lead contract negotiations and contractual changes (in a fast-paced, hands-on, collaborative environment)
  • Ensure program performance and adherence to program plans, schedules and budgets
  • Manage risk, opportunity, cost, quality and schedule performance
  • Coordinate and align interactions, expectation, and transactions between customers and Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
  • Develop new business growth strategies to increase profitability and/or market share of the organization
  • Guide continuous improvement (CORE) initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
  • Direct all program phases from inception through completion
  • Support domestic travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant program/project management experience ( to include supporting the following areas: development, transition to production, production and/or sustainment programs OR leading engineering, program management or manufacturing teams or as a business unit manager, etc)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with proposal efforts
  • Experience using program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processes
  • Experience engaging and reporting out to all levels of executive stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources
  • Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to facilitate teamwork across functions
  • Demonstrated results creating and maintaining thorough executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers
  • Ability to influence and motivate in a matrix organization
  • Bias for action and sense of urgency to obtain results
  • Business development knowledge, strong business sense, technical background and familiarity with technical product development
  • Experience leading proposal efforts
  • Experience leading Estimate at Completions (EACs)
  • Experience developing and implementing execution, coordination, and growth strategies for franchise programs
  • Experience working oversight and monitoring supplier(s) performance; develop preventive and corrective actions as necessary
  • High level of implementation in a complex program environment
  • Program Management Certification

We Are RTX

The salary range for this role is 162,000 USD - 326,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
