The Integrated Platform Solutions team is a high performing team looking to add new VSLs to replace team members that have been promoted to roles with increased responsibility. The successful candidate should demonstrate ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization. Selected candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of development programs within an larger Integrated Platform Solutions offering to a Platform OEM prime contractor. Selected candidate will also be response for working with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery of products with zero quality escapes. This position will contribute to developing the SFP/AOP, develop of business cases and project plans, and participate in forecasting sales and earnings for the IPS portfolio. You will have the opportunity to be the face of the organization to our customers and be responsible for project performance including scope, schedule and cost, subcontractor management, and risk mitigation.

The role will sit onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA or Richardson, TX.

What You Will Do

  • Works on multiple program assignments that require knowledge in resource management, risk management, and project management. Achieves objectives through influence and negotiation in cross-functional matrix organization
  • Works under minimal supervision with broad task assignments and accountable for the successful implementation of multiple projects
  • Develops project plans specifying charter, scope, schedule, cost, resources, and risk mitigation for each project
  • Supporting internal reviews, e.g. Gate Reviews / plans in accordance with internal policies and procedures using CMS (Collins Management System) methodology
  • Work collaboratively to build relationships with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality, and IPPC (Finance) points of contact in various instances of onsite, hybrid, and remote environments
  • Provides monthly project schedule charts for new product capabilities and expansions to Leadership
  • Periodic travel may be required to domestic locations

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
