Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.

What You Will Do:
AIM-9X is conducting search for a Factory Liaison to provide Life Cycle Engineering and Program support.

As a Factory Liaison you're responsible for helping to manage a depot, developing and implementing strategic goals and influencing system solutions. You'll also provide broad coordination and support for the AIM-9X Depot Operations and cross product teams, with an emphasis on day-to-day execution of depot repairs.

Additional responsibilities for Overall support of the day-to-day activities for successful program execution will include:

  • Working closely with Program and Factory Management to support depot repair and other Sustainment activities as well as defining work to be performed to meet contractual requirements.
  • Tracking depot unit induction, piece part repair / availability, and coordinating build units with factory Production Control team
  • Tracking part availability by country / service to accelerate repairs
  • Identifying opportunities to improve any aspect of the repair process (incoming to outgoing)
  • Processing material for disposition through the plant clearance process
  • Reviewing GFP lists throughout the life of the contract for flawless contract execution
  • Collaborating with Contracts to obtain necessary contract modifications
  • Interfacing with Government customers, DCMA and suppliers
  • Performing property contract closeout activities
  • Working with PRISM and inventory control

This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon's Tucson, AZ facility.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant military or civilian experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position
  • Experience working in a depot or warehouse environment and/or with Government Furnished Material
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience supporting depot or forward-flow production activities, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry
  • Self-starter able to manage and track multiple priorities, while also looking for process improvement opportunities
  • Strong communication skills, specifically working with the Government customers
  • Demonstrated experience with leadership teams
  • Ability to mediate discussions between stakeholders with varying incentives
  • Experience with Property / Contract Closeout / FAR & DFARS Compliance and Audits
  • Knowledge and experience with Raytrak, UPS, PIEE

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
