Raytheon Execution Operations has an opportunity for a Production Control team within The Large-Scale Integration Make Center. This position will lead the Planning &. The position will ensure adherence to production control functional processes, policies and systems for Raytheon in Louisville, Kentucky. The PC Manager will be responsible for effectively leading a team consisting of sixteen production and resource planners. The ideal candidate will be an influential leader and will ensure solid communication and alignment to processes and best practices. The candidate will support and drive common process implementations, developing Material Requirements Planning solutions and processes.

Creating and executing plans and defined schedules that ensure on time MRP deliveries and support of financial objectives including future forecast of requirement. Responsibility for the data integrity of our MRP/ERP system as well accountability to key performance indicators that measure plan and schedule execution. Responsible for the alignment of supply and demand with assurance of on-time contractual delivery and factory annual operating plan is achieved. Collaboration with Operations, Programs, Finance and Supply Chain and the ability to influence without authority to attain agreed upon executable plans. Identifying and leading continuous improvement projects; engaging partners to make and sustain change.
What You Will Do
- Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting
- Manage Kit Readiness including working with cross-functional team in BOM, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control
- Releasing production orders in MRP system and confirming in shop floor system
- Coordinating kitting process with multiple stores and consolidation areas
- Provide production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work in Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, delivery to next step (inventory or shipment), and meeting MRP schedule
- Controlling the physical disposition of nonconforming or specially handled material including Return to Vendor, purged material, WIP STOP per contractual restrictions, and configuration of components/sub-assemblies as required
- Maintaining integrity of the shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems through key performance metrics
- Processing piece part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors, internal shared resources, and other Raytheon Technologies facilities.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a university degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing operations, finance and / or project management.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a track record of lean or six sigma project implementations
- Experience with systems such as MRP and/or SAP
- Experience with Wave track and in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
- Management experience in direct or indirect factory or supporting personnel.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
