Production Assembler performs routine assembly operations and processes. This position requires use of hand tools. The Production Assembler ensures that work is accomplished with high quality, in a timely fashion and is compliant with all company, city, state and federal regulations.

What You Will Do:

  • Assembling and repairing wide range or electromechanical assemblies using standard manufacturing and repair techniques.
  • Identifying correct parts, components, wires, and other materials related to various assemblies.
  • Reading and interpreting technical data such as component maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering prints.
  • Communicating work status to team members and support staff (e.g., shift pass down, engineering, maintenance).
  • Utilizing computer skills for office software applications to include documentation actions associated with assembling or repair production hardware.
  • Be responsible for quality product standards to minimize defect.
  • Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
  • Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Must be able to lift equipment and work in various environments, at least 15 lbs.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and assembly instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • This is a 1st Shift position in Forest, MS.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in Manufacturing
  • The ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings.
