In this role, you will be a strong advocate for the strategic direction of a key Connected Aviation Solutions portfolio, leading industry and customer collaboration to capture profound insights that grow our business by reimagining our solutions for aviation. Our network connects to the far reaches of the globe, in almost every country providing aviation, airport, government, and transportation connectivity. It provides private networking in a highly reliable, secure and available world-wide network architecture for Collins Aerospace, CAS's Mission Critical Aviation, Transportation, and Airports Customers.

What You Will Do:

  • You will work in a hybrid capacity at one of our Collins Aerospace site locations.
  • You will lead strategic marketing projects and campaigns.
  • You will collaborate with Integrated Program Teams including strategy, value stream, program management, engineering and business development.
  • You will align Product and Strategic Marketing Plans with the Strategic Financial Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
  • You will conduct product training and webinars for solution consultants and sales teams.
  • You will facilitate workshops to gather competitive intelligence and customer insights.
  • You will develop and innovate the Economic and Environmental Benefit Analysis (E2BA) platform.
  • You will deliver profound insights to drive the growth of the Networks and Connectivity portfolio within the CAS business.
  • You will develop market requirements documents and Go-to-Market strategies.
  • You will create sales tool kits including case studies, demos, presentations, thought leadership, and whitepapers for sales enablement and CRM platforms.

  • You will elevate your Innovation abilities through working with industry leaders across multiple Aviation and SaaS domains
  • You will Master world class Collins Management System (CMS) and CORE Operating Principles
  • You will learn new Pragmatic and Challenger Marketing and Pursuit Order Capture methodologies.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience working in any of the following aviation domains: Airlines, Airports, Air Traffic or Networks and Connectivity
  • Must have prior experience leading projects across global cross-functional teams
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience in business case market requirements and go-to-market development skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate root cause analysis skills to capture profound insights.
  • Prior experience in operational excellence with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Prior experience in digital tools such as MS Suite, planners, and dashboards.
  • Prior experience building effective design across media types, including web and social.

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
