Raytheon Microelectronics organization has an immediate need for Microelectronics Product Manager. This newly created role will report to the Factory Operations Manager and with have responsibility for both Program Management/Execution as well as Material Procurement in support of new business capture.

As a Product Manager, you will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing and Program Management teams. Responsibilities include creation of production schedules, managing delivery commitments, contributing to Estimate at Completion budget packages, analyzing variance drivers, Material management/availability/cost, NRE planning and communicating with customer organizations.

What You Will Do

  • Accountable for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance
  • Coordinate with cross-functional organizations such as finance, supply chain, operations, quality, etc. to ensure flawless execution of program activities
  • Coordinate with Engineering teams on early program life-cycle design iterations and releases
  • Oversee proposal activities and applicable operation reviews
  • Responsible for delivering the complete strategic and tactical supply chain needs of the program
  • Works independently with minimal direction
  • Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) Management & acceptance
  • Lead the effort to develop and implement cost reduction initiatives for both recurring efforts and new business opportunities

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 7 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in project and/or product management.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a government US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), presentation skills and interpersonal skills to manage tasks that bridge operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, and customer relations.
  • High computer literacy and with confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, VBS)
  • EVMS Certified
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean or six sigma project implementations.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
