Raytheon is hiring for a Procurement Associate Director role within the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Procurement organization. This position provides leadership and strategy for the execution of the electronics commodity in support of all Naval Power Strategic Business Unit programs and reports to the Director of Naval Power SBU Procurement. Responsible for the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team.

What You Will Do:
Leads and develops high performing work teams consisting of 30 employees that contribute to the overall success of the Supply Chain vision and strategy.
Ensures the execution of all procurement activity is in compliance with current Gov't regulations.
Responsible for overall supplier performance and execution to support program execution and the Naval Power SBU financial objectives.
Collaborates across functional organizations to develop solutions and ensure supplier performance supports the needs of the organization.
Establishes and develops strong business partner relationships with critical electronics suppliers to drive accountability and performance.
Communicates effectively and routinely on all supply chain issues, including supplier performance to SBU, Program and Functional senior leadership.
Monitors and evaluates Procurement metrics for trends and root causes to formulate proactive plans that ensure overall program success.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience in business, finance, operations and/or Supply Chain OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years' experience.
Experience with procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar leadership role.
Broad leadership experience
Supplier relationship and/or supplier management experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience working across multiple functions and programs
Experience with executive level presentations and communications
In-depth understanding of defense technologies
SAP/PRISM based environment experience
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)
Demonstrated success leading cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments.
Experience with new supplier assessment and development
Flexibility to travel when needed

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
