About oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST)
RTX launched oneRTX focused on leveraging the scale of our three business units to improve collaboration, cost structure, productivity and performance. This will include several major, multi-year initiatives that align to our goals as a company and optimize how we work, operate and deliver to our customers to achieve our full potential. With processes optimized and harmonized, will reduce cost, effort and improve performance as we break down silos and establish consistent ways of working.
The oneRTX│PST project goals are to harmonize key business processes, associated tools and metrics across RTX, while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform - SAP's S4 HANA. The result will be a common user experience across the businesses, real-time visibility into critical data, and automation of manual tasks to enable all employees to focus on value-add activities.
The strategic definition and design phase has primarily concluded and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases. oneRTX│PST project hubs are based out of Farmington, CT and Dallas, TX with Integration Workshops planned to be executed in Tucson, Tewksbury, East Hartford, Montreal, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte. Some travel will be required.
Job Description
The oneRTX│PST Organizational Change Management (OCM) team will be working to provide a structured and scalable approach to managing change for our employees. We create and execute strategies for stakeholder engagement, communication, training and sustainment. We increase user readiness and help mitigate risk to ensure the smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive the overall change management education & training strategy for this high-impact business transformation project that will shape the future of our organization.
Ability to travel ~25% .
What You Will Do
As the Learning Lead you will work collaboratively across the OCM team and with our integration partners to design, develop, and deploy comprehensive education and training programs that facilitate employee adoption of new processes and systems. You will work closely with our project integration partner, cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels to ensure employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful transformation.
Develop Training Strategy:
- Design a training strategy aligned with the change management goals of the transformation project
- Conduct periodic training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and create tailored learning programs for different user groups
Create and Deliver Training Programs:
- Lead the development of a variety of training materials, including e-learning modules, webinars, live workshops, user manuals, job aids and hands-on training sessions to reach a diverse workforce
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions for super-users, end-users and technical teams, ensuring they understand the new processes, systems, and technologies
- Coordinate and deliver specific training for project staff as required (e.g., onboarding, data governance)
- Partner with OCM team, partners and project leadership to align training programs with project timelines and organizational needs
- Engage with business units to ensure training is aligned with their specific operational requirements
- Mentor and coach business leaders and subject matter experts in effective training delivery techniques (train the trainer)
Manage Training Delivery and Logistics:
- Coordinate all project training logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, communication with participants, BU coordination, tracking and reporting
- Oversee the creation and management of a centralized learning repository for all project training resources
Monitor and Assess Training Effectiveness:
- Develop and implement evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of the training programs (e.g., surveys, feedback, and performance metrics)
- Adjust training strategies based on feedback and the evolving needs of the project implementation process
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience (Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field)
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Minimum 5 years of experience in learning & development, education, or training management, with a focus on large-scale change or technology projects
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs for new processes or systems
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and content management systems - RTX tools experience preferred (e.g., FLEX, Workday)
- Experience working with external partners that specialize in learning management to identify, design and deliver employee training
- Certification in instructional design or training development (e.g., CPLP, ATD)
- Experience with Strategic Planning and Strategy to Action activities
- Experience in ERP training or software training
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci or equivalent)

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. Minimum Program Qualifications:

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
