The West Region Physical Security team, based in Tucson, supports Raytheon business by providing innovative physical and technical protection methods to maintain the safety and security of its employees, assets, and guest. You must have an understanding of computer networking, access control systems and functionality. You must also have high ethical standards and the ability to work with minimal direct supervision. You can expect to work 9/80 workweeks during business hours, with occasional weekend and holiday call-out. There may be occasional travel to training and other Raytheon locations.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, design, and administer technical security systems and procedures towards improving products and systems while enhancing performance and efficiencies.
  • Provide technical guidance for Raytheon customer-sponsored security systems and networks.
  • Provide support for all unclassified, proprietary, and government classified security system requirements.
  • provide support for engineering network design and supervision for installations of security systems for Raytheon buildings, government projects, secured areas and Security Control Centers.
  • Manage both new and ongoing design, installation and maintenance of access control systems and all related electronic security systems.
  • Occasionally, contribute to technical security policies in line with national standards as well as corporate guidelines.
  • Support the UL certification program for security UL approved systems; assists with video surveillance system, connections, and quality; and assists investigations of ethics violations and criminal matters by providing system reports.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with a of minimum 5 years' experience in Security related position (12 years of experience without a degree)
  • Experience with design, installation and maintenance of electronic security systems. To include intrusion detection, access control, and video management systems.
  • Experience with the following: NISPOM, UL 2050, JFAN 6/9 and ICD 705 requirements

Qualifications We Prefer

  • General understanding of Software House C-cure 800/9000 and DMP product functionality
  • Experience with Physical Security and closed area construction requirements
  • Possess a minimum of a current, final Secret or Top-Secret security clearance with an investigation no older than 6 years on the first day of employment
  • Profession certifications i.e., Physical Security Professional (PSP), Physical Security Certification (PSC), Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC)
  • Knowledge of security system networking and infrastructures
  • Understanding of Fixed Facility Checklist, self-inspections and/or DCSA Form 147
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Experience with threat and vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, integrated physical security systems and/or ongoing evaluations of security measures
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
