The Standard Missile 6 program has an immediate need for a Financial professional to join our team as a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls. The SM-6 program is a part of the Navel Shipboard Portfolio within Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) Production. The SM-6 program team is responsible for multiple, large DOD Prime production contracts.

This position is being offered in a remote capacity based on the needs of the business. This role is expected to support multiple time zones, specifically Tucson, AZ.

What you will do

  • Provide comprehensive monthly Cost and Schedule analysis.
  • Prepare various finance charts for Program Management Reviews, financial overviews and other financial reporting activities as required.
  • Participate in development of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs).
  • Establish and maintain the overall baseline that is compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255.
  • Support preparation of cost CDRLs including Contractor Funding Summary Reports (CFSRs), as required by contract.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related and 5 years finance/accounting work experience; OR an advanced degree and 3 years finance/accounting work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Experienced user of SAP software, SAP Business Warehouse or equivalent systems.
  • Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management) certified or ability to obtain certified within 6 months.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."

Additional Information

  • This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls.
  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
  • Relocation assistance is available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
