Develop and maintain operating process to support this role and team needed to effectively execute in order to meet financial goals and maintain a positive relationship with all functions and staff. Serve as part of the integral link between Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain & Ops to help drive revenue growth, cost reduction, operating profit & performance/process re-engineering to meet short & long term business unit objectives. Responsible for coordinating program related presentation for the USAF Sustainment Bustiness Reviews. Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all financial information for the USAF Sustainment product line and manages/oversees deliverables to FP&A for month end close, weekly Short Range Outlook, monthly Preforecast, yearly Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Five Year Plan (5YP). Load and tie out all systems for financial forecasts, AOP and 5 year Planning. Responsible for consolidating, reporting and analyzing all financial metrics including bookings, sales, profit, cash for USAF Sustainment programs. Partner effectively with cross functional team (Program Managers, Scheduling, CAMs, Contracts and other PMO functions) to ensure that all commitments are met with the highest quality and on time performance.

What You Will Do

  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual routines including the following: Financial forecasting, Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and 5-Year Long Range Strategic Planning.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all financial information for the USAF Sustainment product line and manages/oversees deliverables to FP&A for month end close, weekly Short Range Outlook, monthly Preforecast, yearly Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Five Year Plan (5YP).
  • Load and tie out all systems for financial forecasts, AOP and 5 year Planning. Responsible for consolidating, reporting and analyzing all financial metrics including bookings, sales, profit, cash for USAF Sustainment programs.
  • Support various USAF Sustainment level meetings and senior management level meetings.
  • Responsible for coordinating program related presentation for the USAF Sustainment Bustiness Reviews.
  • Serve as part of the integral link between Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain & Ops to help drive revenue growth, cost reduction, operating profit & performance/process re-engineering to meet short & long term business unit objectives.
  • Identify continued process improvements, implement reporting efficiencies and ensure product quality, while meeting critical deadlines and managing multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Analyze and understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions.
  • Exhibit financial independence, possess high business acumen and exhibit robust analysis.
  • Interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon Financial Policies and Procedures to program personnel as part of their daily/weekly communications.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Understanding and application of finance principles, concepts, practices, and standard knowledge of industry practices
  • Experience in interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, etc.) in program development and execution
  • Experience in communicating financial concepts, trends and variances to management
  • Proactive, creative and innovative in solving problems and issues
  • Ability to plan and manage daily tasks, meet deadlines, analyze, provide results and recommend solutions to various levels of management
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience with modeling, creating formulas, and complex data mining using MS Office Excel
  • Experience with SAP APEX, BW and BPS
  • Shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis
  • Ability to Work under minimal supervision. Participates in determining objectives of assignment plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives after training period
  • Ability to quickly master Business Systems
  • Prior experience in Defense or Aerospace

Additional Information

  • This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, FP&A.
  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
  • Relocation assistance is not available.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
