What YOU Will Do:
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and proposals for hardware-focused programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer contracts, directly influencing key business relationships
- Analyze incoming purchase orders to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to agreed-upon terms before facilitating order entry into SAP
- Work closely with Sales, Program Management, Finance, Pricing, and Master Scheduling to ensure seamless contract administration
- Monitor and manage export license applications (e.g., D-Trade) and security device requirements to ensure contract compliance
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of key contract documents, maintaining accurate records and logs throughout the contract lifecycle
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in contract processes and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Handle complex contract-related challenges with minimal supervision, applying sound judgment and strategic thinking
What YOU Will Learn:
- Gain experience in contract negotiation and risk management, refining your ability to structure deals that align with both business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop a strong understanding of government and commercial contracting processes, including compliance with export control regulations such as ITAR and D-Trade.
- Enhance your proficiency in SAP and other contract management systems, mastering tools that streamline contract execution and order processing.
- Strengthen your leadership and mentorship skills by guiding junior team members and contributing to process improvements within the contract's organization.
- Build valuable cross-functional collaboration experience by working closely with Sales, Program Management, Finance, and other key teams to drive business success.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Previous experience working with SAP, is preferred, with the ability to efficiently navigate and utilize the system for contract administration and order processing tasks
- Strong organizational skills are preferred, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Time management skills are preferred, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all responsibilities
- A keen attention to detail is preferred, ensuring all contract documents and administrative tasks are completed with precision and accuracy
- Previous experience in problem-solving and critical thinking is preferred, with the ability to offer creative solutions and adapt effectively to new situations
- Experience working collaboratively within teams is preferred, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment
- A strong commitment to customer service is preferred, with the ability to build lasting relationships and consistently meet client needs with professionalism

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
