Join a dynamic, focused team developing and maintaining signal processing applications for real-time operational environments. Our team of multidisciplinary experts collaborates across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration and testing, and metrics analysis. Working closely with operations personnel, we address unique and evolving development needs in cutting-edge environments. Due to the security clearance requirement, this role is an onsite position on the Aurora, CO campus.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the Product Owner for a Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) product, ensuring alignment between customer needs and development priorities.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to agile software development teams and other engineering personnel.
  • Collaborate with customer users to gather feedback, perform technical analyses, and define system functionality by developing system interfaces, use cases, stories, and tasks.
  • Partner with the Release Train Engineer, System Architect, and Chief Engineer to design and implement cloud-based software architectures and technologies within the Product Team's scope.

  • Cutting-edge DevSecOps practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) techniques.
  • Advanced software lifecycle practices for defense projects.
  • Innovations in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) applications.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Experience as a Software Product Owner.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle using the SAFe Agile methodology.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Background in SIGINT, digital communication, or digital signal processing software development.
  • Familiarity with algorithm development.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, cloud technologies, GitLab pipeline automation, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or similar.
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
  • Expertise with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
