RTX BBN Technologies is seeking a Security Manager to serve as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) in support of multiple programs with enhanced security requirements. Located at a RTX BBN facility in the Cambridge, MA, the CPSO will manage the security of multiple Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Programs, maintaining program security in compliance with all customer requirements.
This position requires a self-starter who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment. This role encompasses a variety of duties and responsibilities to include daily communication with government customers, program management, internal BBN customers and employees, sub-contractors, and security counterparts. The CPSO may also support business growth by assisting with general proposal, operational security support, and other front end of the business activities as needed. The CPSO role has a direct impact on customer mission and BBN success.

What You Will Do:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Understand, implement and ensure compliance with the DoD Manual 5205.07, 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Security Classification Guides (SCGs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directive
- Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and addendums, Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), etc.
- Create, update and administer security education, training and awareness to include program indoctrinations and debriefings
- Prepare for and participate in government inspections, as well as implement corrective actions
- Program administrative work: personnel processing, visitor control, conducting program related investigations, TS accountability, dispatching and receiving program documents/material and resolving other related program security issues.
- Will maintain personnel security posture according to customer requirements, to include: processing initial requests for clearance/access, crossovers, terminations, reporting requirements, and program required relevant security briefings and debriefings; will maintain access list for each program and space under cognizance.
- Manage special access program facility administration in compliance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705. This includes physical security and construction requirements for SAPFs and SCIFs, submitting pre-construction and accreditation packages to include Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) and Tempest assessments.
- Position is required to be on site and will require travel up to 25% of the time.
- Working extended hours may occasionally be required.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience managing and implementing security program requirements in a classified R&D environment , or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience working in Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, military or government information security programs an additional 5 years of related experience in lieu of degree,
- Previous experience in Special Programs Security (PSO, CPSO, GSSO, SSO) supporting SAP and/or SCI Programs.
Qualifications We Prefer - Familiar with all, Expert in some
- Experience utilizing DISS and JADE
- Completed related training and/or certification with CDSE, ex. Introduction to SAPs, ICD-705, SFPC, SPSC, PSC at time of hiring or within 6 months of start date.

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
