Join our team as a Principal Program Quality Lead (PQL) supporting the Coyote & Rapid Development Programs (CRDP) in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you'll drive a robust quality culture, practices, and collaboration efforts. Your focus will be implementing strategic quality enhancements across multiple Coyote contracts.

As the primary quality interface for customers and suppliers, you'll ensure the program meets all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements. This includes coordinating with functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and overseeing contracts through all Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) phases, from design to production and sustainment.
You'll develop and monitor quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with integrated teams to enforce process rigor. Supporting transition to production activities, you'll lead Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), First Article Inspection, and Quality Control Plan efforts and play a key role in Material Review Board, Change Control Board, and Risk Review Board.

What You Will Do
- Develop partnerships with program and production leaders, IPTs, and support functions to drive issue resolution and implement improved processes.
- Responsible for developing and implementing strategic and tactical Mission Assurance plans that will directly affect the program's execution and influence.
- Lead and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability.
- Interpret command media in compliance to work being performed.
- Generation of new Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) projects to reduce costs on the program.
- Support implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable.
Qualification You Must Have
- Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Working experience translating external and internal requirements and command media.
- Working experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing and/or design processes.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Six Sigma, Lean, and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications.
- Experience in other functional areas such as engineering, supplier engineering, or operations.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work well with customers, suppliers, and in a team environment.
- Technical understanding of PFMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and Process Capability Assessments.
- Experience in hardware inspections and inspection standards.
- Passionate, high-energy, self-starting team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Process Re-invention Integrating Systems for Manufacturing (PRISM) or SAP.
- Able to facilitate cross-functional teams in systematic improvement activities.
- Ability to technically interface with various engineering disciplines.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and apply resolution-making skills with appropriate supervisory intervention.
- Effective verbal and written communication and networking skills.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
