This is a procurement position for the Product Support (PS) group within the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) organization. This position requires the management of medium and high complexity commodity procurements in support of multiple internal customers enterprise-wide. Candidate will be asked to serve as the focal point for interface and communication between the programs and suppliers.

What You Will Do:

You will be responsible for quotation activities, negotiations, documentation write-up, selecting qualified suppliers, seeking alternate suppliers (when applicable) with direction from program and peers, conduct supplier negotiations (price, schedules and terms & conditions, to include software licenses), and post-award management in accordance with company directives and work instructions.

Candidates should possess capability to review and negotiate terms and conditions and recommend final Raytheon position to Subject Matter Expert and/or Supply Chain Advisor and Office of General Counsel. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in procurement/buying role OR an advanced degree in a related field and 3 years relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Use standard computer systems focused on supplier management processes (SAP-PRISM)
  • Ability to filter information from multiple sources to drive innovative solutions
  • Experience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Raytheon tools, as well as knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Knowledge of reading drawings.
  • DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS)
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment
  • Ability to conduct formal negotiations (price, schedule and supplier exceptions to contractual requirements.
  • Ability to place a PO of medium to high complexity and process a high volume of POs across various programs within the business unit
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers.
  • Must be able to handle multiple decisions based on workload dispersion, program priorities, and program directions
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to think strategically
  • Proficiency to perform and comprehend price analyses, source selection/justification, with guidance as needed
  • Ability to effectively manage job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to quickly assimilate new information, processes and tools

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
