GATORWORKS 6th Gen Digital Transformation, Model Based Design & Analysis, will play a key role in advancing Program capability by executing the Digital 6th Gen (D6G) Roadmap to create new digital solutions that reimagine our core business processes so we can deliver world-class propulsion programs faster and more efficiently than our competition. We are seeking a highly collaborative individual to support our digital capability demonstration team to further digitize and accelerate product development throughout Military Engines.

What You Will Do:

  • Execute the D6G digital roadmap as a key member of an Agile team implementing our digital future state alongside P&Ws best practitioners and Subject Matter Experts (SME's).
  • Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as coordinated by the Scrum Master.
  • Define Model Based Design (MBD) and Model Based Analysis (MB-Analysis) scope for upcoming projects in the team's backlog.
  • Support execution of the team's backlog, including such exciting capabilities as Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Model Based Design (MBD) and Model Based Definition, Manufacturing, and Inspection (MB-DMI) activities.
  • Work closely with Systems Engineering, Design, Structures, and Aero discipline teams to ensure robust plans are established and executed within discipline guidelines.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Previous PW CIPT, IPT or Systems integration experience.
  • Experience as an Agile Scrum Master, Agile Product Owner, or Agile Team Member; experience with FEA software and processes for Aero/Thermal/Structural such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar tools and structural, thermal, or aerodynamic processes on components or systems, including pre-processing design data, submitting FEA jobs to HPC clusters, and post-processing results.
  • Experience with Multidisciplinary Design Analysis and Optimization (MDAO); especially with Teamcenter NX for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Simulation Lifecycle Management (SLM) platforms to manage, track and optimize design workflows.
  • Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter, knowledge of PMI reuse and repurpose; experience in CAD interoperable file formats (STEP 242, QIF, JT).
  • Experience with MB-Design related standards (ASME Y14.41-2019, ASME Y14.47-2019, MIL-STD-31000B); experience with Cameo Systems Modeler or Cameo Enterprise Architect, and the Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
  • Currently an RTX CORE Champion with experience as a Change Agent leading continuous improvements.
  • Existing Security Clearance.

The position will report to the GATORWORKS Director, 6th Gen Digital Strategy. This Onsite role is based in East Hartford, CT.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
