Role Summary
Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Operations and Supply Chain Strategy Team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to optimize operations and supply chain activities within the Sensors Portfolio. The expectation is that you will be a leader accountable for one or more large strategic initiatives. This role will require the ability to succinctly communicate strategies and plans to all levels of leadership. A key responsibility of this role will be to assure alignment of the function and the program on approaches related to strategies for products, sites, investments, capacity, etc, As the integrator you will be expected to bring various functions and programs together to set priorities and support long term plans.

The preferred candidate will have successfully demonstrated leadership of strategic initiatives in the past and be a motivated self-starter with the ability to build and influence a cross-functional network.
What You Will Do:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Responsible for developing long-term and short-term operations and supply chain strategies that align with the overall business objectives and enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
- Strategy Alignment: Communicate and assure Functional and Strategic Business Unit alignment on strategic initiatives.
- Analytical Thinking: Translating future demand and capacity data into organizational objectives and factory requirements
- Investment Support: Overseeing and assuring alignment of a robust capital investment plan to support long term growth
- New Product Introduction: Supporting new product introduction into the factories
- Financial Execution: Problem solving to bridge production realities to financial commitments
- Leadership Interaction: Work closely and present to senior leadership and other key stakeholders to communicate strategy, gain alignment, and ensure successful implementation
- Performance Monitoring: Track key themes and evaluate to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous enhancement.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks within the Raytheon Business related to Operations and Supply Chain. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize disruptions.
- Process Optimization: Lead initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, reducing costs, and improving overall efficiency. Implement innovative solutions and best practices to enhance the performance of the business.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with various departments including engineering, program office, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, quality assurance etc. to ensure alignment of strategies with product development and production needs.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships across Raytheon Technologies. Ensure the operations and supply chain strategies are customer-centric and meet the requirements and expectations of the business and our end-customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within all projects and efforts. Encourage the adoption of lean principles (CORE) and other methodologies to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience
- Leadership experience within Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Programs
- Experience with developing a business case/ROI/financial analysis or other general financial inputs/metrics to program or factory projects
- Experience developing or participating in the development of strategy, roadmaps or future state goals
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry, particularly within a multi-factory environment.
- Experience with factory layouts, capacity modeling or space utilization
- Experience analyzing complex data and developing actionable insights.
- Experience with establishing metrics around goals/activities and reporting periodic progress and results
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Familiarity with Raytheon's product lines and strategic business units.
- Certification in Program Management is a plus.
- Prior work experience managing a capital or facilities expense project or general budget management
- Experience with CORE

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
