The Raytheon Operations/Supply Chain (OSC) Finance organization has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to join our team as the Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls (P2) supporting programs within the Land and Air Defense (LADS) strategic business unit (SBU). The successful candidate will be a key member of the Material Execution Finance team and have responsibility for overseeing the Supply Chain financials for several programs as a Material Execution Program Analyst.

The scope of work includes material EAC development, monthly variance reporting, and weekly analysis of cost runs. This includes participating in the control of costs and schedules on contracts that utilize product based EVMS through APEX/SAP EV management reporting tools. You will be required to perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters.

This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

What You Will Do

  • Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis including costs, risks and opportunities at the Program and SBU level.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis for both total program and SBU cost elements to help define and understand the monthly variances to Budget baseline and EAC positions.
  • Prepare program financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans and forecasts.
  • Support the preparation of cost estimates for new business proposals and assist Estimating and Program Analysts in developing rationale for basis of estimates.
  • Development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in APEX/SAP, Budget preparation and monthly Earned Value reporting.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic
  • Typically requires 2+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 0-2+ years prior relevant experience
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Tool Suite, focus on Excel.
  • Experience in using SAP Business Systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with APEX/SAP Managed Programs finance module & Business Warehouse or similar system
  • Analytical mindset and ability to analyze and interpret financial information in support of business portfolio
  • R6Sigma/CORE Specialist
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certified
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate complex information concisely to a cross functional team
  • Operations / Material Dashboard experience
  • Production, Supply Chain or IMS driven EV
  • Self-starter highly motivated individual with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment desired
  • Ability to work well with team members at all levels of management

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
