Collins Aerospace is looking for a talented Operations and Project Management Analyst to work onsite at our Largo, FL site location.

In this position you will be instrumental in supporting the planning, tracking, and direction of factory performance. The position requires a candidate with an understanding of production organization including manufacturing related policies and procedures. With the guidance of key team members, you will be responsible for providing direction to a variety of cross-functional areas including financial performance, staffing, operating systems, data metrics, manufacturing, capital planning and execution, equipment and facilities engineering, and process re-engineering to achieve common goals for the factory. The position is a fast paced, demanding role and you will have high potential for career growth in an expanding market with opportunity for considerable stakeholder visibility.

What You Will Do:

  • Interact with internal and external customers with respect to production and sustainment factory planning, problem resolution, and process changes
  • Identify and pursue cost reduction initiatives (CRIs) including process improvement projects, waste identification, and sourcing lower cost materials for factory use
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for interventions and problem solving with front line supervisors, operations team members, finance, and engineering teams
  • Analyze performance data and present results to stakeholders on a regular cadence
  • Participate as a team member for the site metrics team
  • Participate in site capital investment planning and implementation
  • Support Bid and Proposal activities
  • Support, update and maintenance of staffing plans
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel VBA/Pivots, Tableau, Access, and business system instruments, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and effectively implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop meaningful relationships, convey data-driven insights, and work across all organizational levels.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Computer proficiency and demonstrated ability to learn new software applications
  • Familiarity with SAP systems, including shop floor control systems within SAP
  • Familiarity with scheduling and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems
  • Ability to find areas of waste and implement improvements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, Business Administration or related discipline

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
