What You Will Do:
- Review incoming engine records from the customer, as well as the records produced during the current shop visit, including life limited parts, accessories and components, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives for compliance and proper documentation of incorporation.
- Check all Shop Maintenance Instructions, Authorized Release Certifications, and other records package requirements are carried out in compliance with the Engine Maintenance Program (EMP) and local Repair Stations Procedures (RSP).
- Where applicable, monitor, witness, document and review the inspection, assembly and testing of gas turbine engines and components, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Identify continuous improvement initiatives and participate in associated special projects when required with coworkers, supervisors, engineers, suppliers, customers, service groups and additional stakeholders.
- Participate in audits when required and report findings.
- Create, maintain and review logs, records, systems, build and test sheets and prepare reports as required.
- Follow all necessary procedures to determine serviceability of parts, components and assemblies. Additionally, follow all necessary procedures in order to issue FAA Authorized Release Certificate, Airworthiness Approval Tag and Statements of Conformity.
- Complete and provide required customer requested forms and logbook updates.
- Will be required to maintain licenses and certifications (e.g. repairman certificate) for assigned area in support of business unit objectives.
- Assist in training equal grade and lower graded inspectors on common work tasks to achieve department objectives.
- There are two available MRO Records Inspector openings; one for 1st Shift and one for 2nd shift
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year aviation inspection experience
- A&P License is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
