What You Will Do

In this role, you will join our Mission Engineering / Operational Analysis (ME/OA) team and be a part of enabling new and novel solutions for the Connected Battlespace. You will work alongside full-time team members to develop mission simulation and analysis capabilities. You will assist in demonstrating our progress to key stakeholders and help grow our team by applying your unique perspective and skills in our collaborative work environment. The capabilities you help develop will support analysis of our architectures and solutions against the real operational needs of our military customers. Imagine being able to use high fidelity simulations to show the customer how our solutions can make their operations in the field more efficient and effective - that is what we do!

What You Will Learn

  • You will gain exposure to products and portfolios across Collins Mission Systems and RTX
  • You will grow your understanding of military operations
  • You will learn new approaches to problem solving

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S Citizenship is required, as only U.S citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with C/C++ and Python
  • Experience with Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM)
  • Experience with Operations Analysis / Mission Engineering
  • Experience in concepts such as CONOPS, system tradeoffs, threat definitions, and system of system assessments
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Git, Subversion (SVN), Docker, Doxygen)

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
