RVS is seeking an aspiring, young professional to join our Mission Assurance (MA) Business Operations & Strategy team.

The selected team member will perform the following:
Interns in system administration can expect to have exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities within Digital Technology. Below is a brief summary of some of the system administrator's duties.
- Participate in the MA proposal process, compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications
- Ensure that MA bid & proposals have accurate and compliant Truth in Negations Act (TINA) proposed pricing
- Work closely with the Mission Assurance Management team to submit and review MA proposals prior to submittals
- Interface with a cross-functional proposal team
- Ensure programmatic and technical risks are identified during the proposal process
- Participate in budget and schedule maintenance by supporting Cost Account Management (CAM)
- Ensure future staffing requirements are understood and advise the Mission Assurance Management team regarding future staffing needs
- Join a small team responsible for the execution of Mission Assurance operations including bid & proposal, CAM, and staffing support
U.S. Citizenship required as the candidate must have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance within the first year of start date.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must be at least a Junior by the start of Fall 2024 pursuing a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), Professional Writing or Business Management Preferred majors are: Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
This position is for an actively enrolled sophomore, junior, or senior intern based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
- Sophomore - must have completed 30 credit hours by start of internship
- Junior - must have completed 60 credit hours of college by start of internship
- Senior - must have completed 90 credit hours of college by start of internship
Qualifications We Prefer:
- 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
- The ability to work with, support, and mentor others
- The ability to collaborate with proposal team members to develop logical bid methodologies in response to submitted RFP
- Thorough written and verbal presentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Infrared industry, semiconductor processing or DoD industry experience
- Experience with program schedule management (Integrated Master Schedule, Master Phasing Schedule, etc)
- Experience in metrics assessments and supporting actions to improve performance or mitigate problems
- Experience as a member of risk & opportunity management, assessment, and mitigation team
- Experience with cost, schedule & financial management
- Understanding of Earned Value Management
- Experience with technical writing (task descriptions, grants, proposals, etc)
