- You will serve as the technical mechanical product expert as you partner with project engineers, electrical engineers, software/system engineers, certification engineers, and other project team members from around the world while designing circuit board integrations for all things oxygen.
- You will lead the analysis of our existing processes while also developing new processes.
- You be involved in all phases of the engineering processes from concept evaluation and proposal to design and development to qualification/certification and product field support.
- You will participate and/or chair design reviews and lessons learned to ensure mechanical design maturity and troubleshooting any challenges.

- You will gain exposure to global stakeholders and peers at our facilities in India and Germany.
- You will become an expert at regulatory and customer compliance.
- You will be able to takes initiative to suggest improvements to product and processes.
- You will learn how Oxygen systems work for passengers, crew, and even parachutist.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with Aerospace products
- Experience with DO-160 or MIL-STD environmental qualification.
- Experience with Oxygen Systems or Passenger Service Units (PSUs) or similar systems.
- Experience with Siemens NX CAD development tools and integration with Team Center.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Must be a commutable distance to Lenexa, KS to work an onsite schedule. This position may be eligible for relocation.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
