Materiel Fielding Planner

What You Will Do:

As a Materiel Fielding Planner you're responsible for managing the steps, actions and responsibilities for the fielding and successful deployment of a fully staffed, trained and supported material system that meets all user objectives.

Overall responsibilities include:

• Creating and managing comprehensive material fielding plans to ensure efficient deployment and utilization of materials across various projects.
• Collaborating closely with project managers, supply chain teams and other stakeholders to optimize material flow and minimize costs.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Analyzing project specifications to identify material needs and timelines.
• Coordinating with SMEs and customer to develop a plan that will be used for timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align material strategies with project goals.
• Preparing reports and presentations for cost and schedule updates
• Staying current with industry trends and best practices to enhance material fielding processes.

This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon's Huntsville, AL facility.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position
• Experience with technical document creation and/or editing
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in life cycle engineering principles and PATRIOT weapon system
• Experience with developing Material Fielding Plans and customer facing engagement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
