As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you'll be at the core of our logistics operations, playing a crucial role in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) of our Evacuation Systems. What You Will Do:

  • Receive shipment requirements for delivery and follow procedures to include routing guidelines.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure completeness of details and requirements based on Global Trade Compliance and Government Agency Requirements.
  • Book shipments with various couriers and forwarders.
  • Adhere to functional group KPI and provide feedback for opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain records and keep documents of all shipments based on requirements.
  • Load/unload inbound/outbound shipments validating material against shipping documentation.
  • Use of material handling equipment to include Drills, Banding Straps, etc.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • General housekeeping.
  • Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function.
  • DOT / FAA Random Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

Qualifications We Require:

  • Typically requires a HS diploma and 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
  • Obtain forklift certification.
  • Obtain DOT and IATA Certifications.
  • Computer skills to include data entry of received materials, entering shipping information, etc.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • Previous shipping/receiving experience.
