Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) who is a strong leader with demonstrated proposal writing skills and interest in providing very hands-on involvement. The MPM will be highly motivated and capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives and be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management. This role is in Airborne Spectrum Dominance which is focused on cutting edge design and development.

What You Will Do:
Advise the program management office and leadership team on material strategies and plans
Develop and manage quick turn proposals (Airborne Spectrum Dominance frequently has 10- & 30-day proposal turn times)
Manage IRADs, CRADs, capital programs, and customer funded contracts across multiple sites
Execute make/buy/where process
Guide multiple functions on developing Supplier Statement of Work (SSOWs) and ensuring adherence to RTX policies
Develop and executing Material Program Plans and Subcontract Management Plans (together with the Subcontract Administrator)
Serve as the liaison between the Program Executive, Program Managers, IPTs and the Supply Chain organization
Represent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies, and objectives
Oversee all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements, and ensuring a strong link within and between various Supply Chain functions, including Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues
Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years relevant experience
Experience in the process of and developing Statements of Work (SOW)
Prior work experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Work, PowerPoint
Experience using SAP or similar
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
This position requires a security clearance be obtained after start date. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Qualifications We Prefer:
Supplier management experience (PO placement, proposal reviews, Best Value Source Selections, Competition)
Earned Value Management Systems Certification
Material Program Management Certification
Knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR/DFARS, ITAR, EAR)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
