The following position is for an SAP Manufacturing Quality Analyst position primarily responsible for assisting with S4 Hana SAP alignments, blueprinting, supporting business needs and actively participating in SAP S4 Hana global design efforts. It is highly recommended that the candidate has a sound background/understanding in SAP production execution (PP) and quality management (QM) processes.

This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote.

What YOU will do:

  • Develop, manage, and support S4 Hana Manufacturing Execution and Quality initiatives for oneRTX.
  • Translate business requirements into designs and specifications that consider business process, industry trends and SAP best practices.
  • Work with business users to interpret and refine business requirements.

  • On large efforts may fill a combination of business analyst, technical lead, or individual contributor role.
  • Lead or support all phases of testing including managing test data, devising test cases and resolving test findings.
  • Contribute to or lead training and documentation efforts in support of project work.
  • Support procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality business units.
  • Provide level three production support for issues and enhancement requests.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and proficiency in business analysis best practices as well as hands on SAP design and configuration.
  • Will apply lean principles to issue resolution, process improvement and product design.
  • Needs to be able to communicate well with nontechnical business users at any levels or location.
  • Needs to be able to communicate well with technical team, both on and offshore.
  • Ability to travel ~ 25%-50% to other major RTX US sites (Farmington, Richardson, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte).

Qualifications you must have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience and sound understanding of PP and QM modules in SAP (Production Planning/Quality Managment)
  • CORE or equivalent (ie. Six Sigma or Change Management) and project management expertise.
  • SAP Knowledge, prior implementation experience.
  • Experience with multiple project methodologies including waterfall and agile Scrum methodology.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

This position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
