Pratt & Whitney's Mature Commercial Engines Aftermarket (MCEA) organization is responsible for providing a broad range of aftermarket services to support our customers and Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities worldwide across our product lines, with accountability for the performance of a multi-billion-dollar contract portfolio. This includes creating and sustaining a global MRO network of service providers, providing integrated material solutions, executing and optimizing our fleet maintenance contracts and generating growth and profitability through the development of enhanced offerings and capability improvements that provide customer value and deliver improved cost performance and speed of service.
Within the Aftermarket organization, the Mature Commercial Engines Operational Analytics and pricing team supports the sales and maintenance activities innovative service offering, deal analysis, shop visit forecasts for contract estimate at completion and pricing for spare parts, repair and engine overhaul services offered to owners and operators of our jet engines.
We have an opportunity for a Manager, focusing on Operational Analytics and Pricing role site at our East Hartford, CT Campus. Mature Commercial Engines has a multi-billion-dollar contract portfolio under power by the hour contract. This role would perform the operational analytics on a significant portion of these contracts and assisting the Fleet Management team in developing annual estimates of the contract value at completion.
What You Will Do:
- Use proprietary Monte Carlo simulations running on a high-performance computing platform to generate forecasts that reflect the specific details of each individual contract to support sales and contract management
- Understand the impact of contractual obligations, maintenance practices, and technical performance of the engine
- Create sensitivities to see variable scenarios to determine the most realistic situations
- Complete Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and External Rate of Return (ERR) data for financial analyst
- Support in pricing and annual escalation activities for spare parts, repairs and engine overhauls.
- Support pricing initiatives, digital tool development
- Participate in development of new services, competitiveness analysis and strategy formulation with cross functional teams with Sales, Finance, Programs, Legal, Engineering, and other departments.
- Offer strategic insight to implement the best solutions and optimize financial value for both P&W and the customer.
- Demonstrate effective communication to explain technical details, present analytical results, and review contracts.
- Collaborate with Customer facing teams, Fleet Management, Powerplant Engineering and Cost Team, and Leadership to develop solutions for processes related to invoicing
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within our organization, to better enable our group to deliver on our commitments.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of professional work experience to include Engineering, Math, Statistics or operational analytical experience, a broad understanding of data analytics, engine overhaul and contracts Or an Advanced Degree and 5 years of professional work experience to include Engineering, Math, Statistics or operational analytical experience, a broad understanding of data analytics, engine overhaul and contracts

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Aerospace industry experience with knowledge of jet engine operation, maintenance operations and spare part pricing
- cross-functional teamwork skills
- Capacity to lead, motivate and influence through effective communication
- Familiarity with developing and interpreting statistical models
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint), and Python

This role is:
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
