The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:
What You Will do
- Perform preventative maintenance work orders, assist team leads with labor tasks and respond to service/repair calls throughout the factory
- Perform a variety of duties, from simple labor tasks to more complex repairs and maintenance tasks
- Equipment and assets requiring maintenance include but are not limited to - air compressors and compressed air systems, air handlers, chilled water systems, comfort air chillers, boilers, pumps, generators, emergency lighting systems, fire suppression systems, production equipment, workstations, and overall grounds maintenance including snow removal.
- Providing technical/repair assistance to production floor technicians and production leads
- Input and extract data from the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Record and document all work performed, keep impeccable records and show proof of work performed for audits
- English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English
- Ability to report to work during business hours; 1st shift starts at 6:00AM. Candidates must be willing and available to work overtime, Holidays and weekend overtime as needed by business needs or as scheduled.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree in civil, mechanical engineering or instrumentation-or related field and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field. In the absence of a degree a combination of education, applicable relevant experience and/or certifications such as journeyman's electrician's license, HVAC technician certification or certified plumber's license in lieu of degree may be considered in addition to 6 years of relevant experience.
- At least 2 years' experience with Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing Systems, hand tools, industrial equipment, building codes and safety procedures.
- Current and valid driver's license.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
- Basic understanding of Reliability Engineering and Preventative Maintenance schedules.
- Experience in a CMMS system such as SAP Prism or related.
- Ability to work both on a team and independently
- Experience working as a team cross-functionally with leadership, facilities team members, and manufacturing technicians.
- Experience with HVAC building automation systems such as Metasys BMS
- Ability and desire to function at a high level in a challenging, fast paced, team setting.
- Highly computer literate and solid ability to learn computer applications.
- Ability to work well within a team and to foster teamwork with both external and internal customers.
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
