This position is within the Thermal Management Heat Exchanger Product Line Organization in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. The Heat Exchanger Product Line encompasses all engineering activities associated with the design, development, qualification, and production support of Heat Exchangers. The product line includes materials, design, project and manufacturing teams in Windsor Locks, CT as well as other global locations.

What You Will Do:

  • Stretch your capabilities and enhance learning with frontline, hands-on assignments
  • Relocate to different RTX cities/states while in program to broaden your exposure to the business and further develop your leadership and functional skills and business acumen
  • Work within an Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) of aero-thermal, materials, design, manufacturing, and test engineers to develop additive manufactured heat exchangers
  • Creating test plans and supporting structural and performance tests of subscale and full scale heat exchangers
  • Assure that key milestones are met and support creation of presentations and documentation
  • Creating and maintaining schedules and budgets
  • Perform requirements assessments to assure that all customer and internal requirements are satisfied.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Engineering: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Systems Engineering, or Hard Sciences: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Computer Science, or other related discipline; degree must be obtained between December 2024 - May 30, 2025
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Cumulative 3.2 GPA
  • Have fundamental understanding of thermodynamics
  • Have some experience with additive manufacturing / 3D printing
  • Be proficient with MS Office applications; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Be proficient with Matlab
