This position will report into the Foundational Capabilities Team in the Engineering Services Department, under Digital Operations Directorate - Digital Technology. The Foundation Capabilities team is responsible for providing foundational support for Digital Operations Engineering/Ops and Directorate Operational requirements.

This role will ensure the efficiency and reliability of IT services by managing licensing processes, coordinating system resources, and supporting security and compliance initiatives.
Key responsibilities include providing technical support for application license services, maintaining documentation, and managing upgrades and integrations. This position requires collaboration across IT and Engineering teams to simplify processes and improve software environments, ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in both technical and task coordination.
Responsibilities also include tool application support in the areas of demand and incident management, deployment, problem resolution, integration, automation and customization, license management, and computing Infrastructure / server configuration support. This individual will work closely across IT Discipline Functions and Infrastructure services personnel to develop and prioritize license services application road maps and upgrade schedules for supported tools.
This is an onsite position and can be located at any of our major site locations.
What You Will Do
- Manage and coordinate the license deployment process
- Document Licenses Services standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Develop/maintain license deployment and sustainment SOP
- Develop and update training material associated with License Services tasks.
- Governance and long-term planning of License Services
- Coordinate the ATO (Approval to Operate) process
- Manage the License Services server environment including supporting applications
- Server certificate management
- Manage server/application vulnerability remediation process
- Manage server/application compliance, updates, and upgrade
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
- Server administration experience (Linux and Windows), including network administration
- Experience in technical environments within Information Technology, Engineering, or Operational Technology fields.
- Experience coordinating across matrixed organizations
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience utilizing License Management Tools
- Experience managing the IT Cybersecurity approval to operate process
- Experience implementing and deploying new tools and processes
- Engineering tools administrative and technical support experience
- Working knowledge of commercial off the shelf software engineering and operations applications
- Software deployment automation (on-prem and cloud)
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Experience applying ITIL methodologies for IT service management, including incident, problem, and change management

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
