The Raytheon Digital Technology (DT) Business Analyst role will work with Raytheon Digital Technology (DT) Analytics & Automation (A&A) product and service owners to centralize and enhance our portfolio efforts, ensuring the alignment of projects with business goals, efficient use of resources, and transparency of A&A work into broader DT Portfolio within Planview.

This position is onsite and can be based at any Raytheon facility.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee intake, demand, and portfolio management (prioritization, issues, risks, resource management, value management) for the Raytheon Digital Analytics & Automation (A&A) team
  • Market the A&A services and products to capture the demand and assign resources to the highest priority based on value
  • Shepherd A&A digital solutions from intake to realization and make work visible through the portfolio Raytheon Digital process
  • Coordinate and mature the A&A portfolio of products and services, incorporating continuous improvement feedback, driving alignment with the A&A product and service owners, and contributing to the strategic roadmap
  • Develop and analyze Digital-level portfolio metrics and reporting to create actionable insights for Digital leaders
  • Coordinate portfolio operations, communication, change management, and learning to support awareness and adoption across Digital A&A organization
  • Support portfolio tool (Planview and/or Jira Align) roll out in the A&A organization and administration
  • Facilitate administrative duties related to operational excellence as needed
  • Ability to travel 10% throughout the year, as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Experience in a Digital or Information Technology or related field
  • Experience translating and summarizing data for presentations at the senior management and/or executive level
  • Experience presenting to senior management and/or executives
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience or education in Portfolio management and Product management
  • Experience in Automation, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence
  • Hands on knowledge and experience using Microsoft suite, Planview, Jira Align
  • Familiarity with stage-gate management processes, IPDS Gating, or Passports
  • Background in CORE operating system (six sigma concepts)

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
