The Raytheon Global Supply Chain is looking for an Inventory Specialist to take on a high visibility, centralized functional organization. As an Inventory specialist, you'll be an integral part of the logistics operations at our Factory and 3PL site in Louisville, Kentucky.

This is a highly collaborative role that will partner with production control, warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, planning and other operational organizations. In this role, the inventory specialist will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of inventory. The candidate will support inventory management which includes reporting, analysis, reconciling and resolving issues with data in various systems and support management decision making by providing key summary reports, discussing their findings, and promoting corrective actions. This person will provide advice and assistance to customers/users, as well troubleshoot complex problems in inventory Management systems, support effective use for our ERP, and warehousing systems. This person will work with our primary Louisville manufacturing site and in collaboration with corporate inventory analysts.
What You Will Do
- Analyze inventory management issues, working to determine root cause, and develop corrective actions; develop skills and analytic capability in the inventory control organization.
- Analyze and reconcile inventory discrepancies and support monitoring of cycle and physical inventory counts.
- Read situations and make logical decisions founded on MRP/WRP principles and broad understanding of the end to end, supply chain value system.
- Identify areas where additional customer training and assistance are needed.
- Conduct inventory management analysis and identify inventory opportunities by assessing current process/practices.
- Identify and lead/manage continuous improvement projects with regard to inventory management.
- Complete application of principles, concepts, industry practices, and standard related to inventory management through MRP/ERP system.
- Identify and pursue cost reduction opportunities and process improvements to support business objectives.
- Communicate inventory control policies and procedures to external and internal auditors
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree.
- Experience with MRP/ERP such as SAP or equivalent platform.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
- Strong business acumen and demonstrate problem solving skill set.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
