As the HR co-op, you will be on a mission to support and mature our Collins EnTeR (Engineering and Technology) rotational program. If you are passionate about working with early career talent and seeing them develop and grow, enjoy working across a diverse group of people and organizations, and are able to stay organized with multiple workstreams going - this experience is for you!

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure all rotational program elements are maturing and meeting key milestones and metrics: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, rotating, developing and outplacing
  • Manage key partnerships: leaders, rotates, steering committee members, and more
  • Partner with Program Manager to develop strategies related to diversity, program growth, retention, internal partnerships, and more
  • Bring fresh ideas for program maturity

  • Have an opportunity to work with teams across different departments (e.g., engineering, marketing, finance), gaining exposure to a variety of perspectives. You will learn how to clearly communicate across levels, and align goals across functions. You will strengthen your ability to manage competing priorities and navigate stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • You will learn how to move between projects, each with unique challenges. This develops your ability to quickly adapt, learn new skills, and adjust your approach. You will become adept at analyzing problems, identifying bottlenecks, and coming up with creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Gain additional knowledge on managing multiple projects across different areas exposes you to high-level strategic goals. You'll learn to think beyond immediate project outcomes and consider how individual tasks fit into the company's broader objectives. This ability to balance short-term execution with long-term strategy is crucial for successful Talent Leads

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. (

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
