The Pratt & Whitney Military Engines Human Resources team is seeking a high-energy self-starter to drive key human resources initiatives and promote an inspiring culture in our Military Engines organization. The HR Partner in this role will provide strategic HR guidance and partnership with business leaders and COE's.
What You Will Do
- Be a positive disruptor while balancing competing priorities and influencing stakeholders
- Be a key contributor to the ongoing development and success of the Military Engines HR team through strategic project work
- Partnering with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs that support business goals and drive results
- Effectively execute HR processes including staffing and retention, talent development, engagement, performance management, salary planning, and employee relations
- Partner with TA Leaders on diversity, recruiting and retention strategy for the Military Engines organization
- Addressing HR-related inquiries from all levels of employees and collaborating with the respective COE partners as needed
- Participating in succession planning processes and programs focused on current and future organizational needs
- Coaching leadership and employees with regards to employee relations, talent initiatives and cultural changes
Qualifications You Must Have
- Undergraduate/Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of progressive work experience within HR domain OR an Advanced Degree and 8 years of progressive HR experience
- US Person (Green Card Holder or US Citizen) due to government contracts
Qualifications We Prefer
- MBA/MS/MA in Human Resources or related field is highly desired
- Project management skills
- Initiative, creativity, along with the ability to craft clear communications both written and verbally
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong influencing and decision-making skills
- Creative troubleshooting skills
- Multi-tasking abilities, strong client focus, adaptive, and ability to work effectively in a time sensitive and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with Workday HRIS
- Employee relations experience
What is my role type?
In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We've introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
