Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. What You Will Do:
In this highly visible role, you'll provide meaningful field and office support to the AN/TPY-2 program Hardware and Software Cross Product and Integrated Product Leadership teams. You'll support a team providing coverages of operations of assets to maximize operability as well as modernization efforts to include technology refreshes, software updates and hardware upgrades. You're also responsible for the overall integrity of the system, sustaining the currently fielded baseline and maintaining the standardization of asset configuration. We're seeking a motivated individual to take on the role of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Maintenance Integration Technical Lead for the Deployment, Fielding, and Sustainment Integrated Product Team.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Integrated Product Team Lead in directing engineering activities and providing technical oversight of the engineering team
- Partnering in the development of long-term strategies in concurrence with technical requirements and customer needs
- Assessing system performance and supportability and recommending improvements to increase technical capability, maintainability and sustainability
- Partnering with customer and internal stakeholders to determine program technical priorities
- Reviewing and approving changes to the technical baselines via CCB actions
- Participating in proposal and engineering change proposal development
- Developing and managing maintenance plans for site upgrades
- Contributing to risk and opportunity management
- Mentoring and developing team members
- This job is based in Woburn, MA or Huntsville, AL.
- This position is designated as ONSITE.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel internationally. Approximately five 7-day duration trips per year to "Middle East" type locations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically Requires: Bachelor's degree and a minimum 8 years of relevant experience operating, maintaining, and/or troubleshooting DoD, manufacturing, or industrial equipment
- Experience utilizing support equipment to troubleshoot system issues and/or install system upgrades
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualification We Prefer:
- Experience in logistics management (or specialized coursework in this domain) and supporting military/DOD programs
- Experience operating, maintaining, and/or troubleshooting the AN/TPY-2 radar system
- Experience in sustaining engineering of complex systems of systems with large numbers of COTS products and customer configuration items, including familiarity with industry standard management tools
- Experience with I&T in fielded, mission critical systems along with technical expertise in troubleshooting radar system anomalies
- Experience in a technical leadership role on a radar development or radar sustainment programs

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
