The Digital Operations Intern works as part of a cross-functional team supporting FlightSense/OSS operations.

This role will work collaboratively with Program Management, Order Management, On-Site-Support (OSS), Digital Technology (DT), Quality, Continuous Improvement (CORE) and other Power & Controls (P&C) Aftermarket entities to manage projects and initiatives that continuously improve business/transactional process efficiencies, help resolve operational issues, support new strategies, create/maintain digital tools, and improve the overall customer experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with an integrated FlightSense team of Order Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Quality, Order Closure throughout the repair life cycle.
  • Manage open tickets/backlog in support of customer requirements
  • Enter and update data into the SAP system accurately and timely.
  • Create/maintain/implement digital tools for scripting, macros, dashboards, Sharepoint, DMB WIP management, AssetLife, RPAs, and EDI applications.
  • Review artifacts (requirements, code, tests, etc) and implement changes/enhancements requested team members.

What You Will Learn:

  • Gain additional knowledge on how to optimize user process/workflows and convert from manual actions into digital automations
  • Learn more about Robotic Process Automation (RPA) - converting data harvest/reporting into automated processes
  • Gain additional knowledge in translating and combining multiple code languages (e.g. Visual Basic) into modern languages (e.g. Python)
  • Learn additionally how to operate within the SAP environment (uploading/downloading data) for downstream business processes

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Some experience with and/or coursework on at least one software development language such as C, C++, Python, Visual Basic or Java.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
