The Air & Space Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit(SBU) is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join the Ground Based Surveillance(GBS) Product Area as a Senior Analyst Program Cost, Schedule & Controls (P2). This analyst will be supporting our the Qatar Early Warning Radar(QEWR) Program within the Strategic Early Warning (SEW) portfolio of programs.

As a Senior Analyst Program Cost, Schedule & Controls (P2), the selected individual will support the management of cost control, EVMS compliance, financial forecasting (FP&A), and overall financial execution of the QEWR program. Additional financial responsibilities include development and review of EACs and ad hoc requests. Collaboration with cross functional teams including Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations and IPT leads.

This position will be onsite at Woburn, MA.

What You Will Do

  • Provide monthly variance and data analysis
  • Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development
  • Earned Value (EVMS) Reporting
  • Establish and maintain program logs (MR,UB, BCRs, etc.)
  • Provide financial guidance to Program Managers, IPT leads, and Cost Account Managers (CAMs)
  • Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance and reporting utilizing standard company tools and processes
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness
  • Work under deadlines and constraints as well as be able to multitask across a variety of tasks and work with all levels of the organization
  • Provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management as well as execute hands on with the finance team
  • Work in a challenging and fast paced team environment.
  • Frequent interaction and collaboration with various functions (finance, engineering, operations, contract, and program office) and multiple levels of leadership will require you to possess strong presentation and communication skills and have a strong understanding of Earned Value Principles and Processes.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience in using tools such as SAP Business Systems (ex. APEX, PRISM), Analysis for Office, Microsoft Office suite.

  • Ability to think on their feet, make decisions in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and interact with a various levels of management.
  • Proactive leadership and significant interaction with the Program Managers, Business Manager, and customer representatives from the finance and contracts teams to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating, and financial objectives.
  • Ability to partner with various functional teams and work in collaboration on the successful execution of gate reviews, contract modification negotiations, financial reporting, and EAC's.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
