We have an exciting onsite opportunity with our F135 Engine Program Finance team for a Program Finance Manager. The position will be based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut facilities.

The F135 Engine Program is the sole propulsion system for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, the world's most advanced fighter aircraft.

The F-35 is the largest acquisition program in the Department of Defense and supports the USAF, USN, USMC, 7 partner countries and a growing list of international customers.

Our $2B aftermarket sector is rapidly expanding and will drive significant top line growth over the next 10 years. Working closely with Program Management, our Finance team provides integrated, comprehensive program business decision making and financial support for all F135 aftermarket contracts.

What You Will Do:

This position includes a wide range of responsibilities that will require regular interaction with internal and external customers.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the items below:

- Lead the tracking and forecasting of all F135 balance sheet activity including inventory and accounts receivable to drive improved cash flow across the program.

- Take lead role in responding to internal and external requests for financial data, including funding inquiries for our government customer and internal requests from FP&A and Accounting.

- Maintain the department's SharePoint site and ensure that the financial data across all F135 contracts are managed consistently and maintained accurately.

- Lead the critical initiative to execute contract closeout activities on completed F135 contracts to drive P&L and cash flow benefits. This task requires extensive data reconciliation across multiple sources and regular meetings with our government customer.

- Focal point for all incoming internal and external customer requests for information, with responsibility to respond directly or assign to the appropriate team member for action.

- Provide improved oversight of intercompany activity and validation of interdivisional fee transactions between P&W and Collins.

- Support various ad hoc projects as required by F135 Financial Leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, with 8+ years' experience in a related field OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 5+ years prior relevant work experience.

- US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Qualifications We Prefer:

- We are looking for someone with excellent analytical and problem solving skills with experience in data analysis and process optimization.

- Experience with Excel Power Query is a strong plus but at a minimum the successful candidate must be willing to take training and learn this skillset.

- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills to help maintain and expand automated processes within the group and manage large datasets.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed, and the selected candidate must be comfortable interfacing directly with the external USG customer as a core component of this role.

- Background in government contracting.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

*This requisition is eligible for relocation and an employee referral award. ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
