This is an exciting opportunity to support the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program. The F135 Sustainment Organization is responsible for managing a network of maintenance repair overhaul and upgrade depots for the F135 engine. As the F135 Depot Maintenance Analytics Principal Specialist, you will be responsible for reporting the global depot performance metrics with respect to program deliverables and internal continuous improvement initiatives.
These metrics can be financial, quality, or process performance related. The focus of depot Principal Specialist role includes tactical reporting as well as leading small strategic projects that support the military engines digital strategy. Leverage cutting-edge analytics tools like Power BI, SQL, Python, R, and Databricks to shape the global F135 depot network. Utilize our data product development platform to create reusable data products that enhance accessibility, optimize maintenance performance, and strengthen P&W's data governance.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate across teams to contribute to digital transformation initiatives that support larger program and company objectives
- Lead small projects to create new business tools, analytics, and data queries supporting continuous improvement.
- Lead the creation of automated reports for global depot performance and track key process indicators
- Conduct statistical analyses and manage the collection, interpretation, and archiving of depot performance data.
- Develop and maintain reusable data products that have an established developer platform
What You Will Learn:
- Gain in-depth experience in analyzing and improving the performance of a global maintenance network
- Develop expertise in driving continuous improvement digital initiatives at an enterprise scale.
- Enhance cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills by managing key strategic projects and working with diverse teams.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical field or a related science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics (STEM) field of study, OR a Master's (STEM) field of study with 3+ years of data analytics experience.
- A minimum of 5+ years of data analytics experience,( i.e. Python, SQL, PowerBI and Qlik).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Prior experience with large sets of data, data warehousing, database systems
- Interested in learning about the F135 engine and the associated maintenance, repair, overhaul, and upgrade (MROU) function
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
