What You Will Do

  • We are in search of an individual with a high level of expertise in Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance (JEIM). You will work in a team environment to support and deliver quality products to our customers. Additionally, you will be expected to undertake other responsibilities that align with our business objectives and contribute to your professional advancement.
  • 1st shift (depending on customers needs could be 4x10 5a-3:30p M-Thu or 5x8 5:30a-2:30p M-Fri)
  • This job is located at Hickam Airfield, JBPHH, Hawaii.
  • Relocation is available
  • Perform full and intermediate-level maintenance and repair on F119-PW-100
  • Perform routine maintenance of support equipment.
  • Maintain routine training related to RTX's Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
  • Local support for investigations and process improvement activities, management of process-related waste according to approved work instructions, and additional tasks supporting business objectives.
  • Utilize non-powered Aerospace Ground Equipment and have a proven ability to use and interpret electronic technical manuals.
  • Document maintenance and inspections
  • Work atop maintenance platforms, ascend/descend maintenance stands, and lift 25 pounds to a height of 4 feet.
  • Use computers and Microsoft Office 365
  • Obtain and maintain a secret security clearance

Qualifications You Must Have

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 5 years of Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance experience
  • 3 years of experience in IPI's, blade blending, and utilizing a borescope to conduct engine inspections
  • Experience with using precision measuring tools to verify build parameters are met
  • Experience in performing diversified tasks related to troubleshooting, provided training and certifications to other technicians, and conducted maintenance repair with zero oversight
  • 7 years of Jet Engine experience in tear-down, build-up, and inspections.
  • 4 years of F119-PW-100 experience or F135 (5th generation engine).
  • Familiarity with AFI 21-101, 2-1-111, and 00-20-1/2/3
  • Airframe & Powerplant License
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer controls

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
